What cookies and similar tools this site uses, what they are for, and how to control them. It supplements the privacy notice and follows the Italian Garante’s guidelines of 10 June 2021. The Italian version of this page is the authoritative one.
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser; similar tools (localStorage, identifiers) do the same job differently. Some are needed for the site to work or to be secure and require no consent. Others measure or advertise, and without your consent they are not switched on at all.
These need no consent, because without them the site does not work or is not safe.
We use our hosting provider’s aggregate statistics, Cloudflare Web Analytics. They set no cookies, give no identifier to an individual visitor, and tell us only how many times a page was opened. That is why they need no consent.
The site is built so that the owner can switch on certain third-party tools: Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Ltd.), Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), Yandex Metrica (Yandex LLC).
When none of them is on, no cookie banner appears, because there is nothing to consent to. When one is on, it is not loaded until you have accepted it: if you decline, or close the banner, its script never runs and no such cookie is ever set. Each of these tools has its own privacy notice, on its provider’s website.
You can change your choice at any time from the «Cookie settings» link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: scripts already loaded are stopped and their cookies removed.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the necessary ones may stop parts of the site from working.
Your choice — accept or decline — stands for 6 months. After that the banner appears again. It also appears sooner if what we are asking consent for changes, for example when a new tool is switched on. A refusal is not put back in front of you on every visit.
